What to Expect When Your Refer a Patient to Us

Integrative Infant Clinic

Our clinic provides a comprehensive and integrative approach to tongue tie care, ensuring families receive the support they need under one roof. Here’s what sets our care apart:

  • Holistic Services: Families benefit from bodywork, expert feeding support, and functional oral releases using a CO2 laser—all included in a global fee.
  • Team Collaboration: We value teamwork and encourage “prehab” care with professionals like IBCLCs, SLPs, and OTs prior to diagnosis for clarity and better outcomes.
  • Focused Follow-Up: To foster healing, we recommend additional bodywork and feeding follow-ups within a week of treatment, ensuring long-lasting results.
Centered on Families

Our clinic prioritizes a family-centered approach, using the Centering Model of Care to combine treatment and education in a supportive group setting. Here’s how we care for families:

  • Pre-Treatment Support: Families receive manual therapy (bodywork) to prepare for effective treatment.
  • Comprehensive Care: Functional oral releases are performed using a CO2 laser, followed by immediate feeding support and tailored interim care plans.
  • Empowering Education: Parents gain valuable knowledge about recovery, feeding techniques, wound care, and therapeutic integration to support healing at home.
  • Ongoing Connection: Families are encouraged to participate in our virtual support group, fostering long-term care and guidance.
Follow-Up Care

We prioritize follow-up care to ensure the best outcomes for our patients and their families. Here’s what our follow-up process includes:

  • Scheduled Check-Ins: Patients are seen at one week, two weeks, and one month after treatment, with additional visits offered as needed.
  • Data-Driven Improvements: Patient data collected during follow-ups contributes to our ongoing research, helping us refine and optimize care.
  • Welcoming Input: Families are encouraged to share their experiences, ensuring we continue to meet their needs effectively.
